A Home for Everyone

A home for everyone

A home for everyone

This past weekend we had the opportunity to participate in the Kirkland Interfaith Network (KIN) Alternative Gift Fair. As we had the pleasure of meeting several folks who kindly donated to Attain Housing, we also learned this story:

“My next door neighbor lost his job recently. The landlord has decided to increase their rent [again]. They are a very sweet family and it breaks our hearts to know how much they are struggling. We have tried helping with meals but they are about to lose their home.”

Homelessness is not a choice. This week (November 14-22), please join us during National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week and help us bring light to this issue. Everyone deserves a place to call home.

If you know of someone in a similar situation, please encourage them to call the 24-Hour Crisis Line (2‑1‑1) to learn about the different resources available in their area.
